The Split Leaf Philodendron has leathery-looking, glossy, dark green foliage that stretched out far from it trunk. It needs space to grow outwards and upwards as its foliage can grow 8 to 10 feet tall and 6 feet or more wide. The split leaf only needs the occasional trimming of an old leaf or stem (it can not be pruned for size or shape).
